Chagford is a beautiful market town on the Northeast edge of Dartmoor. It has plenty to offer including an array of shops and eateries: three great pubs in the town centre and one a bit further out, several delightful cafes, a butchers, grocers, two bakeries, a dairy, a deli, organic farm shop, Spar supermarket, library, bookshop, several clothes / gift shops and more... There is a park with stunning views of the moor and a large kids play area, skate park and a couple of tennis courts which are available to book for a small charge. Chagford is a vibrant town with lots going on, including a weekly flea market (on Fridays) and regular live music and events throughout the year.
